Venue Hire with Vasco Da Gama Taverna
Why not have your next function at Vasco’s? Thought that just because we are an amazing local pub we don’t hire out our venue? Well think again! Vasco’s has been host to many private functions, with various facilities for you to choose from when wanting to hire either a part of our establishment, or the entire establishment.
How it works:
Food:
When using our venue for your next function, our amazing managerial staff are on hand to help you make sure the perfect menu is catered for the event. Helping you create the perfect set menu, we can have firm Vasco’s favourites or even maybe adding one or two new things to the menu.
Alcohol:
Use of the bar facilities at Vasco’s is permitted and our wait staff will ensure that the alcohol you are wanting for your function will be available. Just let us know what you are wanting, from shots, wine or bubbly, we will help to accommodate you!
Please note – Extra alcohol that we do not normally serve, could be subject to a corkage fee
Venue Hire:
There is a venue hire fee that is payable. However, if you use Vasco’s food and booze exclusively, we will happily waive the venue hire fee for you. The venue hire fees cover the use of Vasco’s facilities as well as Vasco’s staff for your function.
You are also allowed to bring your own decorations in to truly turn the place into your vision for that special day or function.

Downstairs capacity: 60 – 80 people
Upstairs capacity: 40 (seated) / 80 (if dancing is desired)
The Shipwreck room:
Downstairs capacity: 60 – 80 people
Upstairs capacity: 40 (seated) / 80 (if dancing is desired)
