At Vasco’s we have our famous Castle Bar. With a name like that – you just know you’re going to have a good time here!
At the Castle Bar we have some amazing drinks on offer – and don’t forget the Castle Tank Beer! Included in the bar area we also have:

Smoking section (inside the bar area)
This section of the bar is also smoking friendly and food can be served here. Generally this is where the locally known “long-time patron” can be found, recounting stories of the wild old days. So come in, have a beer and let these old men bend your ear.
THE VATICAN
Called “The Vatican” as this section of Vasco’s has become like it’s own mini-community.
The downstairs and upstairs sections can be hired for private functions, however when not being used, this section of the restaurant is where you can find more family-orientated diners.
There are weekly food specials, perfect for the crowd looking for a good hearty meal at a price that won’t break the bank.
However, this section of Vasco’s is also sometimes home to Poker club evenings and quiz nights. There is always some form of sport on display with our big screens and projectors, so you need not worry about missing the big game!
COURTYARD SEATING
The Courtyard seating is a firm favourite with our lunch time and summer crowds. When eating here you can easily be forgiven for feeling like you are on holiday, and wanting to extend your lunch time stint with us well into the evening.
Perfectly secluded from the wind Cape Town can be known for and sheltered by buildings and umbrellas from the hot summer sun, The Courtyard is a perfect setting for that lazy Cape Town lunch or afternoon get-together.
Sporting events can still easily be viewed from the various big screens placed around Vasco’s, so you need never miss a moment of the big game. And being walking distance to the stadium, it is the perfect gathering place when en-route to all of those big events Cape Town is renowned for hosting.
So, come grab a seat, grab a beer and be merry with the Vasco’s family (where you might be lucky to see one of our local celebs, or maybe even Vasco’s the Cat!)
